Letterkenny Vocational School is in the favourable position of being able to offer a broad range of academic and applied subjects at Junior and Senior Cycle level.

Students are requested to take and entrance examination.

Through an option system that promotes balance and a subject taster programme, first year pupils are assisted in making an informed choice in the selection of their optional subjects. Class groups for the Core Subjects are arranged by mid-October. The use of a ‘setting’ approach technique allows students to be placed in subject levels based upon their ability in that particular subject.
