Welcome

We hope that you will find this website both informative and interesting and that those of you in the process of choosing a secondary school will learn about how second level schools operate and in particular what Errigal College has to offer students.

Errigal College offers all Department of Education and Skills approved courses, including five FETAC Level 5 courses. It is unique in the Letterkenny area as it is the sole provider of coeducation in English as a sister VEC School, Coláiste Ailigh, offers coeducation through the medium of Irish. The college can cater for up to 500 students and our students reflect the diverse nature of modern Ireland with many countries represented among our student cohort. We aim to offer the highest quality educational experience for our students and do so in the knowledge that each student has different learning needs and styles.

The school community which makes up Errigal College; parents, students, staff, BOM and Co Donegal VEC has worked hard to achieve all that you read about in this supplement and we are justifiably proud of our College. We will continue, as always, to work hard to provide the students of Letterkenny and its hinterland with a top quality education which aims to produce young adults who are confident, skilled, knowledgeable and above all happy.
